Reality sinks in
this cold night cuts deep
her words of disdain keep me from sleep
«Distract your mind» they say
out of a sudden I can’t breath.
It stays in the shadows,
waiting for you to take a peek,
to be sucked in the black hole of fallen dreams.
Then go back to the few minutes that I had her in my arms.
My sweet sweet serenity. Where everything would feel at peace.
Spiraling down into the past.
Wanting the present to go fast.
Making the future now with what we both knew would last.

Pierced right through my brain and chest.
Left me void for days and days.
